The American Pop band Maroon 5 was scheduled to do a performance in vector Arena in Auckland on April 6th. The promoters of the show, the Frontier Touring Company, announced the cancellation of the program two days back. The show got cancelled because of a conflict in the tour dates. The show at Auckland clashed with another charity show by Maroon 5. The band apologized to its fans about the unavoidable cancellation and has assured to visit New Zealand at the earliest opportunity available. The ticket rates of the cancelled show will be refunded at the venue of purchase.

The rock band Maroon 5 is one of the most popular bands of the 2000’s and their songs like “She Will Be Loved”, “Makes Me Wonder” and “This Love” have been smash hits and have topped all the hearts all over the world. The Maroon 5 band members, Jesse Carmichael, Adam Levine, Ryan Dusick and Mickey Madden had performed for the rock band Kara’s Flowers earlier in the 90’s and they regrouped and formed Maroon 5 after their name was taken off from the Reprise roster. It is really sad that the New Zealand public will not be able to listen to the Maroon 5 band at this moment, but fans are pretty optimistic that they will perform pretty soon in front of them.

Dion grossed a staggering $385 million at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, drawing nearly 3 million people to 717 shows that concluded Dec. 15.
The Colosseum stand was a collaboration between Dion and her husband/manager Rene Angelil, AEG Live touring arm Concerts West and its co-president John Meglen, and Caesars. Largely driven by Dion’s performances, the Colosseum has been the top-grossing venue of its size since it opened in 2003. ion is particularly hot in her home country of Canada in general and her native province of Montreal in particular.
