Lindsay Lohan said that she has decided to spend the Easter weekend with her sick grandfather. The Mean Girls star, Lindsay Lohan, has flown to her native hometown of Long Island in New York with her friend, DJ Samantha Ronson on the 19th of this month. Lindsay also will get sometime off the recent sex tape allegation with her former boyfriend, Calum Best, the son of the famous soccer player, George Best.

Lohan’s grandfather Richard Lohan is currently in the intensive car unit at the North Shore University Hospital in New York suffering from colon cancer. Lindsay has decided to cancel all her prior commitments over the Easter weekend in order to spend some time with her family. Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, said that he is happy that his elder daughter is trying her best to come down to her hometown to spend some valuable time with her sick grandfather as he is in need of the entire family’s company at the moment.

Lindsay Lohan, the sultry actress and the heartthrob of many young men all over the world, has claimed that she has put away all her problems pertaining to law and order and is determined to rebuild her acting career. The 21 year old actress was in the wrong end of the headlines for at least two times last year and was charged for driving under the influence of alcohol and the police did find her to be under the influence of cocaine as well. She also had to be kept in prison for a day as a punishment for driving under the alcohol incident. She also had to check into the rehabilitation center for three times last year.

The Mean Girls star admits that lots of distracting things have taken place in her life lately and she is now determined to get her life back on track. She is well aware that she needs to fine tune her acting skills in order to get over the poor reviews she got for her recent movie I Know Who Killed Me, which collected the maximum awards at this year’s Razzie awards, that is given to the worst movies every year. Lohan was awarded the worst actress award this year at the Razzies. Like her acting career, she is also determined to resurrect her singing career with her new dance, hip hop and R n B albums that she is currently recording.

The 21 year old singer and sexy actress, Lindsay Lohan’s film, ‘I Know Who Killed Me”, is in the record books by virtue of winning eight Golden Raspberry awards last Saturday. The Raspberry awards are given to the worst movies of the year and Lindsay Lohan’s film had topped the list by claiming 8 awards. Lindsay Lohan, the Hollywood beauty, was awarded three Razzie’s, two for the worst Actress Awards for portraying the roles of Aubrey Fleming and Dakota Moss in the film and one award for the Worst On Screen Couple, where the two characters she plays in the film appears together.

Lindsay did not turn up for the awards night and the film also won the awards for the Worst Screenplay, Worst Remake, Worst Director as well as the Worst Excuse for a Horror Movie. The film has beaten the previous record holder movies like Showgirls and Battlefield Earth. While Lindsay got the Worst Actress Award, the Worst Actor award went to Eddie Murphy for his role in the movie Norbit. These two Hollywood actors were voted as the poorest performing artists for the year 2007 in a recent poll conducted by the AOL Moviefone this year.

Lindsay Lohan works for the Red Cross as part of her community service punishment. Lindsay was sentenced to community services as the result of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Instead of imprisonment, Lindsay was sentenced to at least 10 days of community services. Maybe the 21-year-old pop diva will finally come to reason.
