Maroon 5, Mary J. Blige, and Latin group RBD will perform in the National Football League Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert Series on January 31, and February 1, in Glendale, AZ. Mary J. Blige and Maroon 5 will kick off the series on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Both performances will take place at the Jobing.com Arena. The concert tickets went on sale yesterday. The concert will be taped to air as a 1-hour special on VH1 Music Channel on Saturday, February 2, at 9 p.m.

Keyshia Cole and J.Holiday will perform as opening acts on Kellly’s nine week tour, which is aimed at supporting R.Kelly’s last album entitled ‘Double Up’. The album was released in May 2007 and apart from Kelly featured T.I. and T-pain.

Chandler Symphony Orchestra decided to add a second show to its annual Sun Lakes holiday performance. Sellout crowds have prompted to do so. The seasonal concerts have sold out every performance since it started in Sun Lakes in ’03. Alan Wilkie, the symphony’s board of directors and a first violinist for the orchestra said this season’s tickets are going as fast as in previous years. Tickets for the show are still available for Sunday’s 6 p.m. performance

The annual Concert will be held on December 8 in the Mannoni Performing Arts Center Auditorium at the University of Southern Mississippi. The Southern Miss Steel Band, Samba Band, and Percussion Ensemble will perform at the popular concert that blends traditional Christmas music with a touch of Caribbean flavors and jazz.
