Billy Ray Cyrus, the ever popular country singer and the father of the latest teen sensation and most happening Hannah Montana star, Miley Ray Cyrus, performed at the Joe’s Bar in Chicago all alone last Thursday on March 13th. He proved through this solo performance that he is still one of the top country music singers and did enthrall the audiences at Joe’s bar with his talented music and acoustical guitar named Lucky Lulu. Billy who is pretty much aware of the rising popularity that his daughter has accomplished lately, said to the people at the bar that today he will be performing solo music for them as his daughter is not with him. Billy opened the show with “Where Am I Gonna Live” and followed it up with another popular song “She’s not Crying Anymore” from his debut country album.

Billy Ray Cyrus is pretty capable of luring the audiences in his side even now at this age and answered to all the questions in a funny way in the Q and A session in between his performance. He also talked about the reality show, “Dancing with the Stars” and said that he preferred being a fat singer to a skinny dancer. He ended the night with his most popular song “Achy Breaky Heart” and all the people at the bar joined with him to sing the song.

Celine Dion’s upcoming Taking Chances world tour. It begins Feb. 14 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dion grossed a staggering $385 million at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, drawing nearly 3 million people to 717 shows that concluded Dec. 15.
The Colosseum stand was a collaboration between Dion and her husband/manager Rene Angelil, AEG Live touring arm Concerts West and its co-president John Meglen, and Caesars. Largely driven by Dion’s performances, the Colosseum has been the top-grossing venue of its size since it opened in 2003. ion is particularly hot in her home country of Canada in general and her native province of Montreal in particular.

RHCP

Red Hot Chili Peppers finally inished their North American tour supporting. They wanted to support their extremely  popular double album Stadium Arcadium in Oklahoma City. Between Californication’s blasphemous “Parallel Universe” and Arcadium’s “Death of a Martian,” one gets the distinct  could be from outer space. Having survived the logical outcome of ‘80s music and the corrosive results of ‘90s medicines. Peppers guitar prodigy John Frusciante seems to think that his band has successfully weathered the fickleness.  Boisterous passion of the Oklahoma crowd hit a nerve.  It proves that  RHCP’s album hit the target and guys  are real music nerds

rihanna concertIt is all because of a doctor’s prescription. Listening to the words from a doctor, the 19-year-old singer cancelled three U.K. shows in Nottingham and Birmingham, England, respectively. The pop star also plans to skip her tonight’s show in Bournemouth.  No one knows what is so bad with Rihanna’s health, but let’s hope that this recently Grammy-nominated singer will get over her troubles and return back to the stage very soon – to sheer enjoyment of her numerous fans.

james-blunt.jpgJames Blunt has recently acknowledged that his failed relationships help him to write miserable songs. Blunt said that if one wants to write depressing love songs, one should get his/her heart broken as many times as possible… Blunt said the songs on his second album, All the Lost Souls, are depressing because he wrote them in Ibiza during the winter and immediately after his relationships with Camilla Boler broke down.

lloh.jpgLindsay Lohan works for the Red Cross as part of her community service punishment. Lindsay was sentenced to community services as the result of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Instead of imprisonment, Lindsay was sentenced to at least 10 days of community services. Maybe the 21-year-old pop diva will finally come to reason.
