Racy X-rated films starring Jim Hendrix are purportedly being released by Vivid Entertainment, one of the largest adult entertainment companies with headquarters in Los Angeles. Official sources from Vivid Entertainment revealed that they bought the tape from a memorabilia collector but refused to say how much it cost them. Jim Hendrix fans are enraged and concerned that the 11-minute footage shows Hendrix, or someone who resembles him, are indulging in what seemed like a threesome. This incident was said to have taken place some four decades ago in an unnamed hotel room.

Vivid Entertainment has sought advice from experts and hope to authenticate the character in the footage but to date, they have not obtained any strong evidence. Charles R. Cross, who wrote the Hendrix biography titled “Room Full of Mirrors” said that in no way the man featured in the tape is Hendrix. Facial features including shape of nostrils on the man does not resemble the guitar legend’s.

Kanye West has put behind him the unforeseen death of his mother last year and is working on a concert tour named “Glow in the Dark” that even has received appreciation from his critics. Kanye who is visibly very upset with the sudden loss of his mother says that all that his mother has taught him is to enjoy life to the fullest. He said that working on his new “Glow in the dark” concert tour has kept him very busy all this while and agreed to the fullest what Chris Milk told him “tragedy brings the best out of a hurt person”.

The seventh edition of the Austin City limits festival, which is scheduled for September 26-28, will feature more than 125 performances at eight stages in Zilker Park in Austin City. The three-day event will see performances by Robert Plant, Foo Fighters, Allison Krauss David Byrne, Beck, John Fogerty, Manu Chao, Iron and Wine, Vampire Weekend etc.

Scalpers acted by grabbing up whatever tickets they can. Live Nation also further stated that “7 out of 8 dates on this tour have sold out” but MyConcertBlog was not convinced. Concert dates have averaged 12,000 concert goers each but sources say that 18,000 tickets are still available, so the facts fail to impress many. Live Nation refuse to further comment about the so-called “sold out” tickets.

Live Nation, which lost $12 million last year, has spent $150 million on Jay-Z to market the rapper so it makes sense that they are seeking to compensate their expenditure. However, many doubt that Live Nation will earn a bundle of profits seeing how Jay-Z’s latest album “Kingdom Come” did not reach the intended sales target.
