Amy Winehouse, the five Grammy award winner of this year, has been freed from investigation by the Scotland Yard. Amy’s publicist informed the media persons that the British authorities have announced that they will not take any further action against her regarding the evidence tampering incident happened in mid-December 2007. Winehouse was charged for attempting to interrupt the course of justice. She was arrested on 18th of December last year for questioning about a case, which involved her husband Blake- Fielder-Civil. He is under trial in U.K for manhandling and for interfering with the witness in his case.

Amy Winehouse was placed under arrest before questioning as it is the common practice in U.K, explains her publicist, Tracy Miller. Police interviewed Amy in December and came to the conclusion that she is not a suspect in the case. However, Amy Winehouse did not attend her husbands’ trial last week. 2007 was a chaotic year for Amy but things are brightening up for her now. Apart from winning the Grammy awards, she joined the de-addiction program after cancelling many shows. Her family and relatives are extending their full support for the de-addiction treatment.
